Hi,

 

My name is Matthew Wyrick, and I am a multidisciplinary creator with a background in graphic design, photography, videography, and other creative mediums. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. During my final two years at ECU, I served as Senior Graphic Designer at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center and was elected Vice President of the ECU Design Associates.

 

Proficient in photography, videography, and graphic design, I work extensively with Adobe Creative Suite to bring ideas to life. After graduating, I built a freelance career as a designer, printmaker, and creator, which led me to a role with The Hammock Source, where I worked on brand logos, print design and videography.

 

Beyond creative work, I have hands-on experience in restaurants, assembling consumer products and equipment, and operating heavy machinery—skills that have shaped me into an adaptable and versatile professional. I also have experience building and flying drones, as well as building computers and other electronics. I currently serve as a designer on East Carolina University’s Creative Services team.
